The staff are all welcoming and courteous. Airy and lovely sized rooms with spa bath are accompanied by excellent service. There is a wide range of facilities in the room like : climate control, new curtains and netflix.

The rooms here are modern with a great view of the sea and have spacious bathrooms with walk-in showers.

For a great experience, opt for the deluxe room with a spa bath, the service is top-notch, free parking is a bonus, and the meals are exceptional at this venue.

Great location - only 10 minutes' drive from Devonport and close to central Takapuna. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably modern, with good facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

No facilities for cooking except a microwave ie not able to make toast for breakfast, probably because they provide breakfast to purchase in the restaurant which makes it more expensive to stay at. No meals in the evening at the restaurant, only take aways to reheat in the microwave.

Had a really amazing stay. The hotel was well priced and exceptionally comfortable. The location offered was great and ideal. Close enough to town center and stores. North Shore district was worth exploring.

I loved that for the price the room was just awesome..and the spa bath and a big factor in it for me.

grey paint sceme on the exterior of the biuldings did not suit the interior..didnt put me off just didnt do the interior justice.

Bed not the most comfortable that i have slept in.

The Carnmore Hotel in Takapuna is exceptionally comfortable. The staff, including the manager, are pleasant. The room is bright, modern, and equipped with a kitchenette, climate control, and new curtains. The hotel is in a sheltered location and relatively near Escape Hunt. It is conveniently located just off Takapuna beach, motorway on/off ramps, and terrific cafes. The price paid for the stay was US$ 136.

The rooms were very old and total refurbishment. Not value for money. Pictures on website do not show the true age of the rooms. Very noisy outside traffic due to main highway and also rooms have poor sound insulation which left us to leave after only one night. Rooms smelt musty, mouldy and damp. Old fictures and paint, bathroom airvent was very noisy. Carpet had stains, no Wifi connection. Poor TV coverage. No undercover parking. Pillows were flat. Not value for money.

Close to city, free parking, reasonable room rates, good pressure shower

No lights in shower, walls and door warped from water damage and could not shut door. Ants in one of the rooms, black hairs throughout bedding, not enough bedding in family room for fold out bed, no hair conditioner- only shampoo, no toilet roll holder in one room
